Albert Cailao
Topic: Business Development

Alberto Cailao currently serves as an Assistant Vice President for the Philippine Holdings, with a focus on property development and asset management. Previously, Albert worked as a Division Manager at AyalaLand developing mixed-use projects with office, hotel, and retail components and was the Project Director of the Raffles/Fairmont Makati. He also worked as an Owner’s Rep for museums in New York, NY and an Urban Planner in Boston, MA. He graduated as a civil engineer from Wentworth Institute of Technology and has a Master’s Degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.



Coleen Ordoña
Topic: Talent, Employment & Guidelines

Coleen has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry working for both local and international brands in public relations and marketing communications, online marketing and performance management, customer relations management, and reservations & revenue management. She has shifted her professional focus into the people management/outsourcing industry as AVP for Business Development for LBP Service Corporation, the biggest provider of contract staffing services in the country. Her role primarily is to expand, stregthen LBPSC’s services in the private sector, identify other potential markets where professional contract staffing is highly required, and operationalizing varied business requirements through effective people management.


Jim Wilkinson
Topic: Smart End-to-End Purchasing

A seasoned hotelier, Jim studied Hotel Administration at Ryerson University in Toronto before joining the Sheraton Management training program. He has been in Asia for over 16 years, joining Champion Global Services in 2009 as Executive Director. Since joining CGS, he has overseen various major renovation and new hotel projects for Great Eagle Group and Langham Hotels in North America, Europe, Hong Kong, and China. He has also directed the project procurement efforts for numerous internationally branded hotels and casinos, for other developers such as China Vanke, SJM, Nan Fung and Wharf Holdings in Southeast Asia and Beijing, Chengdu, Foshan, Haining, Jilin, Macau, Manila, Singapore, Shanghai and Shenzen, working closely with brands such as Capella, Fairmont, Hilton, Hyatt, Marco Polo, Prince and Swire Hotels.

An international hotelier having learned and honed his craft with hotels such as Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, The Peninsular Group, and MGM Grand to name a few. Merril also has over 21 years of leadership roles including VP for Hotels, Hotel General Manager, and Resident Manager in various hospitality scenes. He has been serving as the CEO of Y&S 1847 since 2010.
